Feather Friends
There are about 450 species of wild birds here in our area and it is a pleasure to hear and see these beautiful birds. Lots are summer visitors like the Yellow-billed Kite and the European Roller,so when they arrive we knew summer is here. Then there is also some very special birds like the Pearl-spotted Owlet which is the smallest owl in Africa. So whenever I feel like just relaxing,I will take my camera and go sit at a waterhole listening to the bird activity and hopefully get some great photo oppertunities.
